This satin fabric is light and has a shiny sheen finish, with a permanent crinkled texture and look. This satin has some drape, and will be good for dance and theatrical costumes, as dresses and skirts, as satin garments and lining, and as a satin for evening wear. This satin fabric has no stretch. This satin fabric can also be used for event decorations, on tables and chairs, and hung as a backdrop or as curtains. This satin is semi-opaque, and does show through in some lighting.

This satin fabric does have some colour transfer with handling, most likely from the dye (unfortunately, we can’t know for sure as it is a remnant fabric). We recommend pre-washing this fabric seperately, before use to help remove excess dye.
