This light weight stretch velvet has a devoré (burnout) finish, resulting in a print of velvet on a sheer, mesh like fabric. This devoré velvet has excellent stretch and return along the weft with some slight stretch along the warp. As this velvet has a burnout finish, it is only semi-opaque so a lining may be desired for apparel applications.
